Patsap /\nThe article analysizes data of medical literature and presents the authors’ point of view on the morphology, biomarkers, genome of ovarian endometriosis. The thesis is discussed according to which endometriosis of the ovaries is a specific individual nosology, which is characterised by the risks of transformation into atypical forms with the development of endometriosisassociated tumours. This is demonstrated by molecular and genetic research.
