Endometrial hyperplasia is one of the risk factors for endometrial cancer, especially in the presence of atypia. Ultrasound examination, hysteroscopy and histological examination of biopsy material are used to identify and determine the degree of hyperplasia and atypia. Treatment can be conservative or surgical, depending on the degree of hyperplasia, the presence of atypia and other factors.\nАннотация\nВ данной статье рассматривается взаимосвязь между гиперпластическими процессами эндометрия и раком, а также актуальные подходы к диагностике и лечению с учетом международной практики и статистики. Гиперплазия эндометрия является одним из факторов риска развития рака эндометрия, особенно при наличии атипии. Для выявления и определения степени гиперплазии и атипии используются ультразвуковое исследование, гистероскопия и гистологическое исследование биопсионного материала.
