Adenomyosis is a benign gynecological condition that\nneeds to be managed for the rest of one's life with either medication or surgical treatment. It is also\nassociated with abnormal uterine bleeding, dysmenorrhea, dyspareunia, and infertility. The\nchoice a woman makes will be influenced by her age, reproductive status, and clinical indicators.\nThe primary goals of this study were to gain knowledge on adenomyosis and to review potential\ntreatment possibilities. According to this review, adenomyosis can be treated in a number of ways,\nincluding through medical attention utilizing least-invasive techniques a surgical operation that is\nperformed with minimally invasive techniques. Focused ultrasound with high intensity (HIFU) for\nhysteroscopic ablation and resection Embolishing the uterine artery (UAE). Adenomyosis is a benign\ngynecological illness that necessitates a lifelong care strategy by medication or surgical therapy\nand is accompanied by abnormal uterine hemorrhage, dysmenorrhea, dyspareunia, and infertility.\nThe option a woman chooses will depend on her age, reproductive status, and clinical signs.\nSince there is currently no medication approved for the treatment of adenomyosis, the present review\nwill focus on existing and future medical procedures for the condition. The uterus is impacted\nby the medical condition adenomyosis. It happens when the endometrial tissue that normally\nlines the uterus invades the myometrium, the uterine muscle wall. Although this illness is benign,\nsome people may experience substantial pain and discomfort as a result of it. It is more typically\ndetected in those who have had children and is most frequently diagnosed in people between the\nages of 30 and 50. Treatment options depend on the severity of symptoms and the individual's specific\nsituation. Treatment approaches may include Pain Management, Hormonal Therapy, Surgical\nInterventions, Surgical Interventions and Lifestyle Changes. Several uterine-sparing therapeutic alternatives\nare currently available, each with unique risks and benefits, such as medication, hysteroscopic\nresection or ablation, conservative surgical methods, and high-intensity focused ultrasound.\nUterine artery embolization, a practical, secure, and cost-effective method for treating uterine fibroids,\nhas recently grown in popularity as a treatment for uterine adenomyosis.\nKeywords: Adenomyosis, medical treatment, conservative surgical treatment, high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU), uterine artery embolization (UAE), reproductive status.\n[1]\nBird, C.C.; McElin, T.W.; Manalo-Estrella, P.
