One of the most common mullerian anomaly is septate uterus, and the incidence of unicornuate uterus with or without rudimentary horn is 0.1%of general population. Pregnancy in a unicornuate uterus is a rare event and has maternal and foetal risks. Unicornuate uteri with non-communicating rudimentary horns are susceptible to many gynaecologic and obstetric complications such as hematometra, endometriosis and ectopic pregnancy and thus surgical resection is usually recommended. Patient with unicornuate uterus is more likely to experience preterm labour, endometriosis and malpresentation.\nFiles\nIJCRM20254480.pdf\nFiles\n(390.5 kB)\n| Name | Size | Download all |\n|---|---|---|\n|\nmd5:0c5c8dacffa6d4900489e0487f6cb2e1\n|\n390.5 kB | Preview Download |","source_license":"CC0","license_restricted":false}
