{"paper_id":"461298dc-a3df-4a8c-8e34-47e7f0c4cf58","body_text":"THREE CASES OF UMBILICAL ENDOMETRIOSIS\n1993 Volume 54 Issue 4 Pages 1093-1098\nDetails\nAbstract\nRecent experience with 3 cases of umbilical endometriosis which is a very rare type of cutaneous endometriosis is described, together with 42 cases seen in the Japanese literature.\nThree patients, 43-, 42-, and 37-year-old women, were seen at the hospital because of an umbilical tumor with a pain, swelling, and hemorrhage starting from immediately before menstruation and lasting during menstrual period. At the first visit all 3 patients were diagnosed as umbilical endometriosis.\nEnucleation of the tumor including normal parts was carried out.
