{"paper_id":"41ff8815-17bf-49a2-a902-41355043d2b7","body_text":"Abstract\nThe practicing gynecologist sees many patients in the office with complaints of chronic pelvic pain. The evaluation and treatment of these patients can often be daunting and evoke a visceral response of angst in the practicing physician. This can be avoided by approaching patients in a structured framework that addresses issues in a multifactorial fashion. The purpose of this chapter is to present some of the more common causes of chronic pelvic pain.
