Its symptoms affect women’s physical, psychological, and social lives, and it is, therefore, one of the leading causes of women missing work and school. The success of medical and surgical treatments for endometriosis is limited, and patients seek additional options to alleviate their symptoms, which often include dietary adjustments. Today, many diets for endometriosis patients are freely available online, but these are often designed by the patients themselves and are not based on scientific evidence. Diet in endometriosis is thus becoming a common subject of research. and many studies suggest a positive effect of certain nutrients on the incidence and symptoms associated with endometriosis. To gain a better insight into the role of diet in endometriosis, we reviewed the literature investigating the impact of nutrients or diet on the incidence and symptoms associated with endometriosis.\nDownloads\nReferences\n1.
