Clinicians should be aware of the potential presence of this phenomenon and imaging should be repeated after a suitable interval when the nature of a bulge or a region of low intensity in the myometrium is in doubt. In this paper, we report a transient myometrial contraction that mimics an adenomyosis, but disappears in repeated series.\nSimilar content being viewed by others\nAuthor information\nAuthors and Affiliations\nAdditional information\nReceived 10 February 1997; Revision received 9 April 1997; Accepted 21 May 1997\nRights and permissions\nAbout this article\nCite this article\nÖzsarlak, Ö., Schepens, E., de Schepper, A. et al.
