{"paper_id":"26b8c552-c29c-42be-a37c-d634d9c3f50a","body_text":"Abstract\nAdenomyosis has generally been considered as a disease of adult life; however, it is rarely encountered in young girls, especially when severe dysmenorrhea and chronic pelvic pain are present. The variant of adenomyosis that is specific to adolescent women is the so-called cystic adenomyosis which represent cystic formations within the myometrium with hemorrhagic content resembling that of an endometriotic cyst.
