These include nutrition, exercise, stress reduction techniques, sleep, and non-pharmacologic pain management. While there is little supportive evidence for the use of these in the treatment of adult endometriosis, there is even less data in adolescent endometriosis. These can and should be used as adjunctive therapy. Few adverse effects are noted. Additional research is necessary; however, discussion of these modalities as options can likely benefit patients.
