Gastrointestinal manifestations of this disease have been well described; however, reports of small bowel obstruction are rare. We describe the case of a 44 year-old-woman who presented with high-grade small bowel obstruction secondary to an endometrioma. We review the epidemiology and pathology associated with this condition and describe a laparoscopic approach to its management.\nReferences\nOB Elliott RM Christensen KA Elliott (1970) ArticleTitleInvasive endometriosis of the intestine: report of 21 cases.
