The aetiololgy of infertility in these patients is variable. Pelvic adhesions may lead to mechanical dysfunction in ovum pick-up phenomenon in severe endometriosis. However, infertility in mild and moderate endometriosis may be multifactorial and is still subject for research. It has been suggested that ovulatory dysfunction1 and peritoneal fluid prostaglandins2 are contributory factors to infertility in endometriosis patients. The present study attempts to evaluate these two aspects.\nSimilar content being viewed by others\nReferences\nSoules, M. R., Malinak, L. R., Bury, R. and Poindexter, A. (1976).
