Objective : To examine whether students’ attitudes toward healthy eating habits are predictors of physical (kinesiological) activity. Methods : In line with the research aim, a sample of 549 students (368 women and 181 men) completed a questionnaire on healthy eating habits and physical activity. To determine the influence of healthy eating habits on kinesiological activity, linear multiple regression analysis was used. Results : The statement “It is important to me that the food I usually eat keeps me healthy” was the strongest predictor of kinesiological activity (R² = .126; b = .41), p < 0.01. Conclusion : The findings highlight the importance of developing targeted nutritional interventions and physical activity programs that take academic background into account in order to encourage healthier behavior and improve students’ quality of life. The results of this study may provide guidance for enhancing student life quality by influencing attitudes that can affect physical activity and dietary habits.
