The criteria of determining endometriosis-associated malignant tumours are described and potential factors of malignization of endometrial foci are considered. Taking into account the similarity of endometriosis and cancer, a possibility of repositioning the drugs that undergo studies for treatment of oncological diseases is also discussed.\nKey words: carcinoma, drug repositioning, stem cells, risk factors, endometriosis.\nFor citation: Adamyan L.V., Aznaurova Ya.B.
